RULES OF THE WIKI

The Wiki rules are adopted from the wise men of the BME wiki, and they are as follows:

1) Editing an article about yourself is highly suspect. However, providing nuts and bolts about your band (such as members and releases) is encouraged since you may be the only person that knows that stuff. Do not put marketing-sounding crap about your band in here - this is not the place for it.

2) Learn how to spell and compose sentences.

3) Do not add entries that are unrelated to Houston or to Houston Scene lore.

4) Try to avoid filling wiki entries with insults or injecting them with your personal opinions. However, while we should strive to be impartial, the inclusion of widely-circulated rumors-- especially when hilarious-- is encouraged.

5) Do not add entries for bands or people that a majority of folks do not know or care about.

6) This is not a gossip forum. If you want to post gossip about someone, it should be well-known gossip, and you should use modifiers such as "presumably," "allegedly," "purportedly," "reportedly," and the like.

7) This site belongs to the community and all are free to contribute to it as they wish. See rule number 1 for the hazards of writing articles about yourself, but with that in mind, it would be cool if you put your band up here - just don't tell eveyone you're the best band ever. EXCEPTION: Mr Billy Gibbons can write whatever he wants.
