John Sears

John Sears has large, wolf-like sideburn mutton chops. He plays in bands, records bands, puts out the Grey Ghost series, and is alleged to day-light as a math teacher. Definitely drives Will Adams and Jay Merritt crazy. Spent the summer of 2008 as a park ranger in East Texas where he learned about nature and racists.

As a child, John Sears played a game he liked to call HEART ATTACK. The game consisted of hiding in small cabinets and closets of empty rooms. Then once people would settle in those rooms, he would jump out of his hiding spot and scream. This explains a lot about him, actually.

- convinced Beau Beasley at age 16 to buy a Sunn Model T and Ampeg 8x10 bass cabinet instead of some modern crap and thus began his obsession with giant, cheap, shitty sounding amps. Parents were not stoked.
- Remember those stickers that said ATTACK BEAR '93 with a picture of a bear that Roy Mata put up around town once? John Sears retaliated against them by making stickers that said Roy Mata '93 with a picture of a similar bear drunk on honey.
