OH DEAREST CENTERPOINT!  Are not we, the dutiful denziens of citizen music journalism, part of this city’s crucial infastructure?  Do we not comfort and heal like a hospital?  Do we not teach like a school?  Do we not discuss songs of praise that make some raise hands to the heaven (POWERHOUSE!)?  Do we not stop traffic like a light when we have the opportunity to perform basic grooming in full illumination?

As for you, dear reader:  we hope that you have either power or high spirits.  Its not particularly motivating to be in a dark hot office.  We should have a weekend preview for you by Friday, as it looks like this one will be ‘back to normal.’  In the meantime, we hope that you, like us, have taken this opportunity to read some books, get acquainted with talk radio, and utterly destroy your body by spending too much of your time in coffee shops and bars that have electric lights.  Rest assured Houston, you’ve got a great body and it can take the damage.
