OUR RUMORS OF THEIR DEMISE WERE SOMEWHAT EXASPERATED! Turns out that, back when we reviewed their debut full length a few weeks ago, we incorrectly asserted that the night of the release was also the night of their final appearance. So hasty. Turns out that they have one more ace in their deck. Austensibly motivated by technical difficulties (i.e. a misbehaving foot pedal synth), the duo are taking the stage tonight at Boondocks for one more performance (notice we did not say last this time – we’ve heard the word, and we’re pleased to say that the future holds more than Prince Caspian sequels). Also on the bill is the grand chanteuse of yore, Elaine Greer, who will no doubt once again be upset with us when we accidentally show up at a reasonable hour only to find that she has just played.
